PASTOR & LADY MOSS
Dr. Michael J. Moss - PASTOR
Dr. Michael J. Moss is the proud son of the late Charles J. Moss, Jr., and Georgia Vinson Moss of Paducah, Kentucky
He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of nine at the Harrison Street Missionary BaptistChurch in Paducah, Kentucky under the pastoral leadership of the late Dr. Wardelle Harvey, Sr.
Dr. Moss is the proud Pastor of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
Dean of the Clarksville Baptist School of Religion Cumberland River South Kentucky Middle Tennessee Baptist District Association (CRSKMTBDA). Member of the Cumberland Baptist Association.
Dr. Moss previously served in Jacksonville, FL., where he’s held positions of Christian Education Director, Assistant to Pastor, Ministry leader, Bible study, male chorus and maintenance coordinator. He is active in the local, state and national conventions along with community and humanitarian services.
Dr. Moss is an honor graduate of the Baptist College of Florida where he earned an Associate of Divinity and Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Studies, a Master of Divinity from Atlantic Coast Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry
from Andersonville Seminary. In addition to graduating with honors, cum laude and magna cum laude he also earned the distinction of making both the Dean and Presidents list. His burning desire to preach and teach the Word has allowed him to share that gifting both locally and nationally.
Dr. Moss is married to the former Trina Kinney and they are proud parents of five children.
TRINA KINNEY MOSS
Mrs. Moss is dedicated to the ministry of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. She and Pastor Moss are excited about the possibilities for growth in the church and community. As a ministry team they are committed to Kingdom building creating new and innovative opportunities so the Tab on the Hill will be a beacon throughout the community and the nation.
Born in Mobile Alabama and a beloved daughter of the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church. As a C.M.E., “Preacher’s daughter,” Lady Trina grew up throughout the United States. Lady Trina began working in the church teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, was an active member in Christian Youth Fellowship participated in the C.M.E District, Annual and General Youth Conferences.
For more than 20 years Trina made her home at Greater Saint Mark’s Missionary Baptist Church located in Tuskegee, Alabama. She served as a member and lead vocalist of the Brothers and Sisters Choir. Her service to St. Mark’s also involved implementing a Church summer school and recreation program that now forty years later incorporates activities for the senior members of the church
Her professional career spans nearly forty years as a clinical social worker, professional fundraiser, and nonprofit executive. She completed undergraduate studies at Tuskegee University and has a master’s degree from the University of Alabama.

History of Tabernacle Baptist Church
March 21 and March 28, 1982 – gospel preaching and teaching were held at the Mason Rudolph Recreational Center on Golf Club Lane under the leadership of Rev. Jimmy Terry, Sr.
April 3, 1982 – Saturday, at the Cumberland River South Kentucky Middle Tennessee Baptist District Association Building on Dodd Street, a new fellowship was organized as the “Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church” of Clarksville, Tennessee, affirmed pastor: Jimmy Terry, Sr., with twenty-five members joining.
